comment Will a kernel update overwrite my wireless driver from a newer kernel?
I enabled the backports and installed the kernel 3.11 but the update manager still proposes to me the update of the kernel 3.2. How can I disable it?

comment Backup to remote win machine
I try the ls -l command and I found two different results. Before the mount I obtain drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 2013-02-28 11:57 backup and after the mount command I obtain drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 2013-02-23 23:41 backup.
