Somehow Seafile always gets forgotten. Its "dropbox on steroids" and allows you to host your own (which I do). Its major advantage is that it allows you to encrypt everything. There is also a cloud offering at seacloud.cc if setting up your own server is too complicated. Clients for Mac, Windows, and Linux

comment How to show a running clock in terminal before the command prompt
If you use byobu, it shows a clock in the bottom right of the terminal. If you press f9, you can even add the time in UTC which is extremely useful as a sysadmin that manages servers around the world and keeps log timestamps in UTC. It also means that you can use whatever shell you like. Bash/fish/zsh etc.

not really, when I press skip and do sudo mount -a I get a message that the UUID does not exist, and checking sudo blkid confirms this. I just tried with ext4 filesystem and got the same result. Does it matter that I am running my OS on encrypted SSD?
