Can't adjust brightness on a Sony Vaio T13 ultrabook echo 400 | sudo tee /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness > /dev/null and you don't have to mess with su nonsense, it can also be used in scripts. |

Dropbox instead of the documents folder? richzilla's command is fine, just no need for sudo as you are manipulating the data in your own home folder, which you have full access to anyway. Using sudo when it is not needed can cause issues. |
