comment ask for a shortcut problem
I removed xterm. In Chrome or Ocular, when I type Ctrl+f, nothing happens. I am expecting the searching bar.

Dear Desgua, I just installed gconf-editor. I looked through all items from searching Ctrl. I don't find the relation of Ctrl+f with opening xterminal. Thanks anyway. :-)

Dear desgua, I checked. There is nothing special. At the Lauchers, to launch terminal is Ctrl+Alt+T, instead of Ctrl+f. I don't know the system relates Ctrl+f with launch terminal. Thanks.

By the way, files and the directory that contains the files have been changed constantly since being created.

comment Is it possible to check when a folder or a file is created?
I am using the latest Ubuntu 11.10. The install is by default. I didn't change anything. Then does that mean that my file system should not store the creation time? Thank you very much! :-)

comment Does anyone know why does Ubuntu 11.10 use TeXLive 2009?
@Paŭlo Ebermann and N.N. thank you very much. My problem has finally been solved. It is not the problem of TeXlive 2009. Please see this post: tex.stackexchange.com/q/32776/2364

Thanks Argusvision. Your answer is still valuable for us. Fortunately, 11.10 is not that inconvenient.:-)

Thanks root45. I have fixed the problem. See my post above. It might not be the problem of TeXlive 2009. It might be the problem of pgfmath.sty.

I really regretted to update to Ubuntu 11.10. Since then, I have had so many problems with my system.
