comment Unknown Partition Table Error on Boot Randomly after Reboot: Conflicting Device Mode
Actually I would destroy it at this point and reinstall with two disks but I don't want to destroy the windows installation at this point.

comment Unknown Partition Table Error on Boot Randomly after Reboot: Conflicting Device Mode
Yes I have had this installation for about a year now with not much problems. The other day my battery died while the computer was on and this problem started. I know about the pitfalls with Fake Raid but at the time was the only possible way to install and do what I wanted. If I went back I probably would do something differently and just have two separate disks. But I do believe both installations are UEFI and not legacy. I don't think I could install otherwise but took me ages to get the system working with Fake RAID and dual-boot anyway.

comment Force rewrite of Gnome-Do summon binding on login because keeps being set to disabled
I've debuged a little and the gconf values are not changed but still in the menu it labels the summon-do as disabled. I have set the summon dash as <super><shift> so shouldn't conflict but I still think it is disabling it for some reason. Can I somehow force it to reload the gconf settings so it isn't disabled?

@lkjoel - Ended up just doing a reinstall. During that had a similar problem and yeah that usually would kick it back to the main menu so it would work. When I cleared the compiz settings out from the home folder seemed fine. Then just reloaded them in with my exported file. Reckon it was something conflicting in compiz.

@lkjoel - It forces me over to the x-windows (Ctrl-Alt-F7) but it's just a black screen with an arrow cursor on it that can move around. If I hit Ctrl-Alt-F1 i see what I took a photo of which 2 hours later now still hasn't changed on either screen. If I force close and do it again it hangs at the same spot. The ^@ is just from accidently hitting some keys on the keyboard so ignore that.

@lkjoel - screenshot link added. That is as far as it gets which just shows a blank screen with an arrow.
