comment Sharkoon Drakonia Gaming Mouse doesn't work at all
Kernel version 3.11.2 onwards supports this mouse fine so it shouldn't be a problem.

comment USB Mouse Sharkoon DarkGlider not working
I'm having a very similar issue with my Sharkoon Draconia mouse and I have been offered the same solution. The problem has to do with the mouse mapping itself as a keyboard as well as a mouse causing confusion in the OS. I will post a detailed answer if I can get this figured out.

comment Should I update to 12.10 tomorrow?
If you are cautious about updating, wait until 12.10.1 comes out. That is the equivalent to a service pack on Windows, any bugs should have been eradicated by that point. Generally I will update on first day of release as I don't really find it that unstable.

This question is a confirmed bug over at LaunchPad (bugs.launchpad.net/bamf/+bug/1026426). StackExchange sites do not handle bugs and so this question will probably be closed because of that. If you want to help then using your LaunchPad account, add yourself as someone who the bug affects.

comment Dark purple screen with graphic corruption at boot, using wubi
GeForce cards are notorious for their Linux compatibility. Try instead putting the monitor into your motherboard's VGA/DVI port, remove the graphics card and boot it up again. If that works you should be able to install the drivers from here‌. If that succeeds then you should be able to reboot your computer using your graphics card as normal. Try this and let me know how it goes.

Please remove your answer to the second part of the question. The OP is required to put his second question in another question, so wait for that to be posted and answer the second part on that one instead. Questions cannot contain two different questions.

Please ask your second question in a new question. A question on AskUbuntu should only be asking 1 thing.

Oh, OK. I'm not too familiar with Ubuntu One, nor the Ubuntu Music Store. Thank you for that correction. If you have any ideas please edit that last point for me.

Could you not remove the /usr/lib/jvm folder too? As far as I know that is only used by Java.

As far as I know, this is not possible as Quickly is only designed to generate and compile Python applications.
