i’m Paulo, Technology addiced and Lifestyle enthusiast, studying Computer Engineering at Minho University and currently working as:

  • Photoshop Designer;
  • WebDesigner / Webdeveloper;
  • .NET Programmer;
  • IT Management Technician;

I love computers and all thing tech! After many years of individual research, i now study Computer Engineering at Minho University and i’m the Administrator of PauloTruta.net, as well as the creator of some Windows softwares. As for design knowledge, i currently do identity design, flyer design, web creation and video editing in Adobe After Effects. But my main job is to be a Windows software programmer and web developer, and nowadays i do my work using Visual Basic .NET, C#, XAML, Action Script 3, PHP (With and without frameworks), JavaScript, SQL, HTML5 and CSS3. I’m creative, imaginative, organized and have professional experience doing teamwork. I’m also updating myself about code typography and design tendencies. Already have an IT Management Course and i plan to instruct myself in the technology field as long as i’m alive and as long as i can work with computers. In the past i was the Mais Net Network Administrator and worked as programmer and webdesigner for Innux Software (http://innux.com), among other interesting stuff. I love to be involved in at least 2 independent projects at a time, and usually i choose to make a few websites just for fun and then give them to somebody to manage. I’m also the creator of Twitt’On Stage, PhotoL0ad and GoSMS, projects that exist and are running on my hands right now. I’m always switching operating systems between Windows, Linux and Mac, so in this blog you will see articles about the three, their software and all the advantages of each one. I’m also an Open-Source lover <3 I have deep knowledge of the Windows XP, Vista and 7 operating systems, and also deploying Windows Server installations. I also have advanced knowledge of computer networks and basic knowledge of hardware and electronics.

Recently, because of University, i'm researching a lot about Haskell and LateX, and those will be most of my questions here!

That's all! :)
