Installed babl, but gimp2.7 still says No package 'babl' found @ppb. That worked great. Thank you! Now I have to install gegl. Please post your comment as an answer. |

Installed babl, but gimp2.7 still says No package 'babl' found @ppb I get a prompt when I do that. and when I Ctrl C out of the prompt and try to configure again, I get the same No package error. I haven't closed the terminal yet, so the PATH variable should hopefully be ok. |

Can you install ubuntu on xp and then uninstall xp? how? There is a way to convert the WUBI installed Ubuntu into a dedicated partition Ubuntu installation via LVPM. However you might want to look at this askubuntu.com/questions/15327/… |

Installed babl, but gimp2.7 still says No package 'babl' found @fossfreedom I might have better luck installing the stable gimp to a different path. Thanks for the tip! Meanwhile, I will let the question stay just in case |

BABL: Recreate aclocal.m4 with macros from libtool 2.4 did that. thanks. However I am stuck at the next step. even after instal babl, the gimp configure step says. No package 'babl' found. Guess that is for another question. |
