- Just an average guy trying to do my best to follow our Jesus Christ
_ In regards to Linux use. I'm pretty much only a user of Ubuntu and its derivatives (Elementary OS being my primary use case) I'm not at all an advanced user and am only on my first few chapters of a beginners programming book. So most answers I give won't be particularly technical unless I'm able to find tutorials or other kinds of information when searching for the answer.
_ I like to think of my self as a mix of average user in always wanting my software to be aesthetically pleasing, but more power user in how i tend to "stress" a system. A programmer's and developer's worst case scenario I think. :-)

Remove DRM in Calibre (Ubuntu 11.04) problem I also am having this issue. I purchased Kobo books assuming I would be able to remove the DRM. But to no avail. :-( |

How do I install Ubuntu to a USB key? (without using Startup Disk Creator) Do Intel Atoms have the "inbuilt" virtualization support? My system monitor says its this one. Intel® CPU U2700 @ 1.30GHz. Would use my much more powerful desktop, but the Power Supply died a few months ago. :-( |

Can ubuntu be installed on a USB 3.0, not talking about live usb, i want to install it on usb itself? Can we please reopen this question? Or atleast supply links to other questions with confirmed answers? The below answer does not solve the question, because the user didn't fully understand the question. Startup Disk Creator can only be used on USB flash drives upto 4 GB. Anything larger, and the extra space will just be left empty. I am wanting to do this same thing. Have a Live USB that is atleast 16 to 32 GB. Installing to the USB flash drive the way he suggests doesn't work for me either. Ubiquity crashes everytime after a certain percentage point. Please provide more links to information |

Does Ubuntu App Showdown Allow Inventive Games? Sorry to bother again, but would you know of any good write ups on how to integrate an app into the Quicklists? Preferably for beginners, as I am still very new at learning python. Thank you for anything you can come up with. :-D |

Problems starting to use Launchpad Awesome, Thank you sir!! I'm getting ready to run that command right now. But then how do I choose exactly which file I want to upload? Sorry, I'm extremely new at this, I tried watching the different videos I found on the developer.ubuntu.com. But they didn't seem to cover these indepth details. Edit P.S. I seen your video on Quickly, and it was really informative on Python and the Quickly program. But I'm using Illumination Software Creator cause it require zero coding experience. Even for a web browser. Not always as attractive looking. But a really good start. :-) |
