Cannot use super+space as a shortcut in XFCE That still does not help. I have long uninstalled yakuake and xfce will not let me use super space as a keyboard shortcut for anything. My only reasoning for bringing up yakuake was that it can use super+space whilst any app in xfce cannot (even if all kde apps are uninstalled). |

Cannot use super+space as a shortcut in XFCE This is entirely not an answer to my question. Not to be rude, but I already have xfce4-terminal with dropdown mode installed. My question is the super+space issue. |

Cannot use super+space as a shortcut in XFCE @maggotbrain Considering that it's in the man page, yes. |

AR9285 Wireless (Yet another) on Acer Aspire One 532h-2676 This worked for me. I recently installed ubuntu 12.04 on my Aspire One, and out of the box, the wifi worked fine, but after a particular update, everything went to crap. Constant reconnects every few seconds. This solution worked for me on my Aspire One 532h-2588, though I'd imagine it'd work for anyone with the same series of network with the same wirelesss card. |

Easily add mount points to Ubuntu @Zabba, sorry I kinda fell off the site for a while. That'd be the elementary theme on GNOME. |

How do I display more than 5 bookmarks in gnome-panel “Places” menu? Since I can't comment (yet), I'll have to post an answer. Just to further Oli's comment, here is an ubuntuforums thread on how to patch gnome-menu to support more bookmarks. |

How can I reduce the time taken to login by postponing/delaying some startup applications? @ændrük I always refer to Greycat's wiki when I'm unsure about quoting and other 'best practices'. |

How can I reduce the time taken to login by postponing/delaying some startup applications? I'd be sure to trim startup programs and services too, if you haven't already. |

What are the common maintenance tasks? In most cases, I'd avoid computer-janitor as much as possible. It's simply not a good program. |

What are the common maintenance tasks? I love aptitude as much as the next guy, but from what I read, using it has no advantages over apt anymore. I still use it though. |

List of Twitter clients that support Oauth? I'll add Air apps to the list, though on x64 linux, Air is a tad spotty (and is the sole reason why my case fan kicks into high). |

Best alternative of Itunes for the use of iPods @ændrük though we can hope that Glen will try amarok and possibly like it |

Multiple shortcuts for same functionality Alternatively, you can install it via the Software Center, if we didn't assume that already. |

Partition advice, how can I stop running out of space on “/” partition? I would also like to recommend installing something like localepurge. ubuntu-tweak also has an excellent system cleaner (I'd avoid computer-janitor). Of course, there are also system cleaners like bleachbit and fslint. |

Which app can I use for easily annotating pictures/screenshots? +1 for shutter. Awesome screenshotting tool. The only thing it's been missing is imgur support. |

How do I monitor disk activity on a specific drive? Hmm... I just don't like that it fills my entire scrollback. |

How do I monitor disk activity on a specific drive? example usage: iostat -d 10 /dev/sda will give you the io utilization in 10 second intervals of /dev/sda. I'd almost use watch iostat -d /dev/sda over its interval option. Edit: beat me to it while I was typing :) |
