comment Any PPAs for Google's Go Language?
I've installed this PPA and I seem to have all the relevant packages installed (stable version). But where are the executables? I'm trying the usual ones - 6g and 6l are not in the path.

comment How do you get the Broadcom BCM4306 wireless card working?
I had the same problem (the packages were installed successfully but the card didn't work). It turned out it had been blacklisted. Editing one file and rebooting solved the issue. See first answer in this question: askubuntu.com/questions/38327/…

Warning: the previous command should be unity --replace & when executed from the console.

comment “io: postinst-must-call-ldconfig” when creating a package
This was it. The debian folder had a postinst.ex file meant to be an example. I renamed it to postinst, modified it so that ldconfig was called when the installation was done correctly, and the warning is gone now. Thanks!

thanks for your answer but no, pressing ESC doesn't show anything different than pressing any other keys.

comment How do I increase console-mode resolution?
My solution will only work for grub2, I think. Are you using grub 1, maybe? If yes, try with a lower resolution first - for example 1024x768x32. Regards!

comment How do I increase console-mode resolution?
I use grub2, not grub. I didn't know that grub was responsible for the console, so I didn't mention that in my question. Sorry. I've found a solution with grub2. Regards!
