comment Google Sinhalese installation failed
As you said Sir,I couldn't install Google sinhala input IME.What happens in Google sinhalese IME is,if I type any Sinhalese word as it sounds using Roman key board that same word gets typed in Sinhalese automatically. But it is not true with phonetic key board, which is the standard Sinhalese keyboard. It is hard to remember the keys in that key board and take more time in typing......GOOD NEWS.....I got another method from, sinhala.sourceforge.net it is very much similar to Google IME.Very easy to install for beginners.I installed that for Ubuntu 12.04.Thank You very much.

Thanks so much,Sir for your understanding and kindness. It,s a good news for me to know about "translation team on launchpad". I didn't know about them. I appreciate your encouraging words and I got all what you explained. A big thanks to you sir, for helping me.

Thank you so much, jackweirdy. So my friend, do I have to use either software center or command line in all installations? I am asking this because that I installed Skype to Ubuntu 12.04,directly from the download link as I did in windows, and now Skype is installed but cannot get the log in screen in Ubuntu 12.04.
