Yes looks okay. maybe the problem is on the DD-WRT router. what shows traceroute "host.domain" show? try to compare the results from the postfix server with a different machine in you lan.

If you do not use grub. Then you use the windows bootloader... This makes things a little different. I guess windows has a config file for that. I rememeber that pressing F8 was doing something, i think safe mode. Maybe that helps.

I would try to start into systemrescuecd and mount the root partition. Then you can chroot to that mountpoint and try to repair the system. A good idea is to start aptitude upgrade and aptitude update. And then configure the grub again with update-grub2.

that looks like, your root is shifted. It should not try with /root/dev/console.. it should try /dev/console. Can you look in to the system with bootCD? like systemrescuecd?
