Add the information that, if we don't want to remove any existing jdk, then we should skip the first dialog which delete existing jdk

Did you test the solution for dual icons? Actually you only need to disable the autostart of nm-applet-mate.desktop file

Assuming that, Your data limit has reached, you could try copying the downloaded .deb files from /var/cache/apt/archives/ and use them to create a mini local repo. Download the other files from somewhere else and put them in the repo. Then use your local repo to upgrade
