What exactly does 'Wipe available diskspace' do? My hunch, and it's just a hunch, is that "wipe" means "zero-out" and "shred" performs a military grade erasure by writing several patterns of alternating 0 and 1 and some random data on top to ensure no data can be retrieved from residual magnetization of a hard drive surface. |

Fix hibernate on Thinkpad X60 with 12.04 Precise Pangolin I do have some stability issues with hibernate after this fix. So far, it failed to resume once, and it failed to hibernate once. So be careful. Another sleep module might be more reliable, but I cannot test that until I can reproduce the problems. |
