comment Reallocate partition space from /boot to /
Would help if you could include the partitioning table details (output of fdisk print option). In any event you might be in for a little work.

comment My wifi driver is not working?
One issue is that there are many many different versions of hardware supporting wifi. I think you'll have to search for a specific driver that is supporting your particular chipset. The default installation obviously does not support the chipset you are using.

comment grep to get compile error
Hmmm....why go about in this hard way, why not simply use the exit code from the gcc command (which is what make uses) and test that. It is far simplier.

comment Signal called on user logout
You are making an assumption without putting coding to verify and report what is exactly happening. Have you thought of disabling the signal mask for these things?

comment Missing home directory in ubuntu 14
ahhh....with the comment, that everything that used to be in /home would no longer be present anymore including some package stuff that sometimes resides in /home. Thus you can reformat and remount /home but you'll need to go to backups to get the appropriate content back. Just creating the /home area, the system will probably work for the most part but there may be problems depending on the packages you exercise.

comment Ubuntu running slowly after accidentally filling hard disk
Sounds more like an out of memory going to swap type of situation. You might have something spinning out of control taking up a lot of memory. But you'll have to do a little detective work wit ps, top, and the like.

comment Why ssh is refusing connection?
You need to use the private key at the origination point of course (you do not say how you are doing this). At the endpoint, the private key needs to be present in the home destination directory with that appropriate permissions ~/.ssh/.authorized_keys.

comment My Ip address keeps changing each time I restart my virtual computer
I believe there is a setting indicating how long a DHCP reservation lasts. I have this problem on VMWare Workstations until I addressed it. You have of course another alternative of assigning a static address

You forgot to mention the linux distribution, and version number. If your distribution is not on the current version, this bug might not be fixed!

Sounds like you need to install drivers for the USB 3 controller and the hub device.

comment How to call a older version gcc?
I'd say you might be asking for problems as some of the bindings generated on the older versions of the compiler might not be compatible with the later operating system. So things using shared object libraries might have difficulty. Why not just use the latest version?
