After logging in, there's a black screen and my cursor, nothing else! in Ubuntu 12.10 @ToDo, hey! Thanks for the reply. And by the way, I Installed Gnome as you said, and booted into it. It uses GDM now, but it works. Only thing is... this is Gnome... I still love Unity... how do I fix that now? |

The hard reset method: after making a new account, same problem there, except the desktop background shows up now as well. |
