Wine installation on 12.04 LTS @jo-erland The -f flag (for 'fix') in the apt-get line is supposed to stop these breakages, so sorry about that. Do you have Synaptic installed? If so, it has facilities for recovering from a broken system. Follow the link in my comment above for instructions. |

Wine installation on 12.04 LTS I see a new version 0ubuntu4 is now available in the repos, which may also solve the problem, though if the troublesome 0ubuntu3 version has broken your Wine prefix you may have to recreate it from scratch. You should be able to upgrade to the new version in the usual way, e.g. on the command line sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade. If you have broken dependencies, you'll need to use Synaptic rather than the Software Center to fix them; there's help on the Community Help Wiki. |
