comment How can I make the goaccess package available in Lucid (10.04)?
I did it, and it worked. Any idea why this isn't in the Lucid repos if it works this way? Seems like it could just as easily be in the Lucid repository.

I have begun the process which you described, however, goaccess depends on libtinfo5, which in turn, depends on multiarch-support. When I went to download multiarch-support, the site had a strong suggestion not to do what I was doing. Is this something I should be concerned about? packages.ubuntu.com/precise/amd64/multiarch-support/download

comment How is /etc/motd updated?
@Pete, I tried that command, and although it printed out the relevant information, it did not actually change the text in /etc/motd. Is this expected?

comment How to add “Open terminal here” to Nautilus' context menu?
@air-dex It seems to open xterm with the command /usr/bin/xterm -e /bin/sh -c cd '/whatever/folder' && exec $SHELL basically changing directories upon startup of the terminal session. I don't know how to modify this behavior to use xfce4-terminal (which is what I've been using).

Any idea on how to make it use the normal terminal settings? The terminal it opened didn't have the normal colors and settings.

comment how to create encrypt mount entry in /etc/mtab
I'm not sure if this will help, but I got the same error, and it went away after a restart. Now it works as expected.

I am in the exact situation that you were in, in the first paragraph. Is it safe to stop the gpart tool while it is still "Searching for file systems on /dev/sdX? Should I just close gparted (there doesn't seem to be a cancel button)?

Thanks for this! Also, I like the "None, Allow Drag and Drop" option (which is more like Lucid).
