comment Virtualbox error after installing new linux kernel 4.4
I think it has nothing to do with the kernel. I have the same problem with Ubuntu 14.04 on 3.16.0-59-generic kernel.

comment Got a new SSD, don't want to wear it out but I still want to use some of it to store data files together with the old HDD
@FabioA. I look forward for it. IMO this type of file system should be default for every Linux distribution installed on boxes with both SSD and HDD.

Also check out the project, that may be easily modified to suit your needs (or may even support it out of the box): romanrm.net/mhddfs

...And yes, the size of bcache partition will be "eaten" away from the total available storage. It is by design, because bcache is file system agnostic. This design gives you a bonus of storing only most frequently changed part of a file, which should be advantageous with e.g. database data.

In theory your requirements are doable. The most feasible solution is to post an feature request on the bcache bug tracker asking for another strategy of storing files on the bcache.

comment Razer Kraken 7.1 calibration
@GuiImamura What makes a good individual speaker is its linear response over all frequencies. Nothing more. I doubt there is anything the software can do if all you want to do is to play music. Gaming is another story - there is a lot that can be done, to make the artificial sound effects sound natural and 3D. And for that you would need a good sound card. I doubt the headphones alone can help you here: to render natural sound you need to know 3D properties of the rendered scene (like position of the sound relative to your character, its speed, shape of the room and the materials)

comment Razer Kraken 7.1 calibration
@GuiImamura I wanted to say, that the advertising headphones as dolby 7.1 is only a marketing trick. While technically you might get a device that logically presents itself as 7.1 compatible, it still has only 2 physical speakers. So you gain nothing and pay more.

comment Please help me with 32bit libs for 64 bit
That worked to solve the same problem in different Valve's game. Too bad, I can't accept the solution (it is not my question).

@koloman Yes, definitely. BTRFS version is tightly coupled with kernel version during the development phase. Effectively there is no such thing as "btfs version". Or any other FS version except for file systems written on top of FUSE.
