Also, how would I go about uninstalling ubuntu after I fix Windows and execute fixmbr? It mentions deleting the ubuntu partition in a live cd session in the help doc. so do you know what they mean? Windows 7 professional won't boot after installing ubuntu 11.10 alongside I (kind of) figured out how to uninstall ubuntu after I fix windows and also a little bit more help right here so that helps a bit but I found a free download here instead of having to pay $9.75. |

Windows 7 professional won't boot after installing ubuntu 11.10 alongside Yes, I used the partition tool in the installation window, but instead of "windows" and "ubuntu" in the slider I had "files" and "ubuntu". I gave ubuntu 30ish gig and I had 100 gig free so it couldn't have overwritten, right? As for burning the iso I was going to use imgburn onto a DVD when I'm at the library cause the ISO is 3 GB and the only other internet I have access to is limited download (mobile broadband). I think that MAGGOT (as I now call it, with justice) just overwrote windows bootloader or something to that extent. If I "download the disc" then that should work, right? |
