I am a regular Linux (mostly Ubuntu) user, and have been for several years. I started dabbling in Linux in the early 2000's, dualbooting my desktop for a few years, and have been using Linux solely since around 2006. I am also a system administrator, and have over 20 Ubuntu servers and over a dozen Ubuntu desktops under my care.

comment Do I really need the “Source Code” in my repository list?
I believe it is because you have repos setup that do not provide source code (i.e. a deb-src line), so it shows a dash, meaning that it will only download source for some repos.

revised How to remove Intel's Open Source Technology Center Driver?
Added explanation about release and apt-get autoremove. The autoremove will remove the now unnecessary dependencies installed by the intel-linux-graphics-installer.

As has been stated, all the point releases are are bundled updates for ISOs. They are just regular updates.
