I Like to build and repair computers. I have both a Cubieboard, and Raspberry Pi. I also enjoy refinishing wood furniture.

I like using the terminal, writing basic shell scripts, and sometimes even installing from source :)

Everything I say(type) is not related to anything,
nor does it represent any entity.
The words belong not to anyone.

comment Ubuntu for Android, Ubuntu for Devices, LinuxonAndroid project for Ubuntu on ARMv7 machine?
ubuntu for android doesn’t exist in the "wild" they just developed it and are trying to sell it to phone makers, also What Machine? there are many small android boards that will run a plain desktop of Ubuntu, and you might want to split the second part into a separate question.

comment How do I run a windows exe on ubuntu natively?
look into "QT" you can code in it and then make native programs for each platform, there will be separate installs for each, but you can share the same code-base.

@Tim that is what I was trying to say "wineaiso" requires an extra file not included in the sourceforge download

comment How i can install ASIO4ALL on ubuntu 14.04?
However, I've never been able to successfully register for a dev account, and I think the required version of the SDK is not available there, so this link has a "link" to direct download ;) aur.archlinux.org/packages/steinberg-asio

I've tried to do wineaiso, and it requires asio.h from "Steinberg's ASIO SDK" the download requires a developer account. steinberg.net/en/company/developers.html

comment How can I change cursor color in Ubuntu?
or if you start touching things in your home folder, they then get owned by root, next thing you know you can't login or access your files, then someone recommends the 777 thing... and all your files are open to hacking, it's a downward spiral of bad advice.
