I greatly appreciate your answer and your effort. They are not useless. I even used it because I hadn't yet see that comment. I had to make a choice that's all. I took a ride of up-voting your other posts too ;) to compensate the fact that I was not able to award here.

I had to choose the answer that looked more probable to fit the needs of a future visitor of the page. The other answerer had posted as comment first. Its form was the most suited. It is not true that doc output may result in a corrupted file, it just creates a doc file with the same content as whatever other format is specified in the command. Also, as it happens, the output file in my case had thousands of pages, most of them unusable. Copy pasting from there in a doc was very annoying, and indeed I had to give up and use the other command. Your answer was rewarded with upvote. Thanks.
