How do I change the computer name? Changed "unless" to "as long as". The opposite of "unless" was intended! |

Why do this PDF's fonts appear unreadable on my machine? Thanks, this solved my problem. Rather than following your instructions to install Garamond, I installed texlive-fonts-extra from the package manager. The tip to check for unembedded fonts is useful--is there any easy way to see which fonts I have installed? |

How do I rebuild a corrupt dpkg status file? This solution appears to have fixed my problems. I will update if any issues arise from using an old status file. |

How can you access a folder you want quickly? @Takkat: I tried again today, and it worked. Yesterday, I was trying to add my newly created Dropbox folder as a bookmark, and I tried several times. I closed and re-opened my nautilus windows, but I did not restart nautilus. Maybe nautilus just required a restart? I'd file a bug if I could reproduce. |
