User of Ubuntu since 11.04. Currently running 14.10. Amateur CLI geek. Interested in Javascript and, to a lesser extent, Python and Java.

That's an Iguana, not a lizard. And yes, there is a difference.

Random quotes...

Don't blame me. I'm an interpreter. I'm not supposed to know a power socket from a computer terminal.

Okay, so it seems like the problem is a great library for generating PDF files with PHP.
So almost true...

Cat: We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.
Alice: How do you know I'm mad?
Cat: You must be. Or you wouldn't have come here.

comment Assembly: TASM illegal command
@Fischer No, the D: is necessary because without it DOS will look for test.asm in the current directory, which just contains the Tasm files. Run dir to see what I mean.

Appears to work for me: i.imgur.com/oJ1poUf.jpg You'll need to give more information about your setup so we can figure out what went wrong, or I can just add an answer detailing what I did to get it to work.

Great thanks. One last question, how are you running launching tasm? and do you have dosbox installed in wine? (I guess that's two :P)

Any chance you can share a asm file to test? Without a file to do an exact test it does seem to be working for me.. How are you launching it? (btw, I'm pretty sure SO wouldn't like this kind of question..)

Yes, much much better, thanks. One last thing though: If you added some paragraph breaks it would be more readable :)

Can you be more specific with what you mean by "installing edubuntu from xubuntu"? Do you just want the edubuntu look + feel + applications or do you want to do a complete reinstall of edubuntu?

Yes, we know what grub2 is but we don't know exactly what happens on your system. Did it completely disappear? What happens when you boot then? Did you configure it not to appear? Have you tried pressing a key like <shift> when it boots and seeing if grub appears?
