User of Ubuntu since 11.04. Currently running 14.10. Amateur CLI geek. Interested in Javascript and, to a lesser extent, Python and Java.

That's an Iguana, not a lizard. And yes, there is a difference.

You should support the Vi/Vim proposal!

Random quotes...

Don't blame me. I'm an interpreter. I'm not supposed to know a power socket from a computer terminal.

Okay, so it seems like the problem is a great library for generating PDF files with PHP.
So almost true...

Cat: We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.
Alice: How do you know I'm mad?
Cat: You must be. Or you wouldn't have come here.

@BecomeBetter I can't remember exactly but I'm pretty sure you need to install that package to get the entire source, but someone could prove me wrong.

Try running sudo apt-get install linux-source and then re-run the commands RPi suggested.

@user280121 No, I think when you installed lxde you also installed the display manager lxde uses (I don't remember what it is called atm). lightdm is the default display manager Ubuntu uses. This command will reset the default from whatever one you installed with lxde to lightdm (the ubuntu default). I'm not positive this is the problem, but it is highly likely.

You're going to need to be much more specific. I don't even know what operating system you're running once you mention a VM.

What happens if you run sudo dpkg-reconfigure lightdm? Select "ok" and then "lightdm". Restart.

Do you still have a link anyway? If it was on this site I can still see it.
