comment Using GNU Screen with 256 colors
This worked. But adding the other stuff to ~/.screenrc makes everything output escape sequences instead of colors, like some sort of alien terminal.

comment installing win7 x64 in VirtualBox - error driver device missing
Seems like corruption was the culprit for me too. I tried another disk and it worked fine.

comment Is there a terminal command that will click the mouse?
Do you know how to run this command inside a desktop (e.g. Mate or Gnome)? For example, if I set this command to a keyboard shortcut in Mate it doesn't do anything. It only works if I execute it at command line.

comment How do I use 'chmod' on an NTFS (or FAT32) partition?
So this will allow you to arbitrarily set permissions like chmod 655 /some/file on the NTFS partition mounted in Linux? I'm trying to figure out how to merge my home partition from linux into c:\Users. Will using usermap allow me to retain all the permissions? I was planning on mounting the c:\Users directory to /home in linux.

comment NTFS Corruption: Files created in Linux corrupted when Windows Boots
Interesting. I haven't experienced any problems with ntfs-3g yet. I have a 1TB NTFS hard drive that is full to the brim with no problem at all from Linux.

comment Using a folder on an ntfs partition as /home

I have the same problem here in Arch Linux. This BCM43241 wifi card just seems to be completely non-existent when in Arch, but it works just fine in Windows.

comment How to control internet access for each program?
"Can simply run another"???? Then obviously the creator of such a program that doesn't block the child processes of the target program is vastly flawed.
