Local disk invisible after partial upgrade I can't, too much editing already ;) Anyway, i took the shortcut and reinstalled the whole thing. After the hellish "partial upgrade" i got too much instability going. Lost a few files but hey, now all is well. Thanks for the time and attention Alvar. |

Local disk invisible after partial upgrade Now i gotta mount the volumes one by one manually each time i restart the system. What is this filthy upgrade that does such thing anyway?!!! |

Local disk invisible after partial upgrade I've succeeded to mount the volumes manually via the Disk utility. But they now appear as "58454474512154....." instead of "xxGB Hard drive". The data is intact and all there, but i know this ain't normal. I also got a warning in the "Reallocated Sector Count" attribute in Smart data section of Disk utility. Please Advise. |
