I'd advice to search some formus for guitar players and ask what devices they use if they have Linux. |

In general it works in such way: guitar plays what it plays, the signal is changed electronically - on so called distortion boxes (also called effects) or in your computer (dependently where you connected yout guitar to) - therefore your device requires proper software. Do speak with the seller after you decide to something, and dont be hasty (i know it is not easy). |

And the most important: Find one that supporsts Lunux Ubuntu, or is known to work with such system. Do not buy the one that is described as working with Win of Mac only. |

My Computer System Information Or instead of lubuntu or xumbuntu install gnome-shell and use Gnome classic environment. I have done so on very similar pc and it works very well. |

Problem with compiling fft using gcc It simply states that it cannot find parmacs_config.h, this means that: it is an external package/3rd party software file and you are missing this package or didn't give the proper path to this file. Other reason is that you didn't specify the makefile options properly. |

can't get the resolution right even after installing the nvidia driver maybe that is a stupid hint, but did you run nvidia-settings using sudo? ( sudo nvidia-settings or/and sudo nvidia-xconfigure). Also please check this |
