comment Gmail offline on Firefox 4.0.1: “Offline Mail is not supported by your browser”
+1 Interesting! Just installed it on Chrome, it works well even though the interface seems to be touchscreen-oriented. However, it does not seem to download all messages, only the most recent ones (like the Android app), so it probably won't be helpful when offline looking for an email received years ago.

comment “A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding” everytime I wake up my laptop
+1 Interesting. So is it something that is inevitable? It does not seem to happen to everybody.

Indeed the link broke after Fuji Xerox incremented the version. I modified my answer, it should work better.

comment Installed local postfix, Thunderbird unable to use it
Thanks! Something is listening to 127.0.0.1:25 and I receive a different error after following your last line's advice: The mail server responded: 5.1.1 <iewvrowijvw@gmail.com>: Recipient address rejected: gmail.com

comment Notification icon always the same, even when Liferea has new items
I understand the design design you described. Too bad Liferea does not comply with this design: The user is never alerted of a newly arrived message, even if he hasn't opened this menu for ages. Colour never changes. I have 9 feeds, is it a large number?
