Dash application search unresponsive at startup Yes, waiting a while is an option, but what's curious about this problem is that the file- and music-search functions are always up and ready to go. It's also curious that loading an application from the dock first makes the dash application search immediately available. There must be something preventing the load of the app search. If my wait was just a part of the normal boot process, loading an app from the dock shouldn't bring the app search in the dash online. |

Whole computer locks up when on docking station using wireless Thanks for the suggestion. I'll see if that makes a difference. |

Whole computer locks up when on docking station using wireless If I understand correctly, you attach and detach while your laptop is running. My practice with this laptop and docking station has been to always shut it down before removing from the docking station and to only boot it after attaching to the docking station. Is it better to do hot attaches and detaches? |
