comment Screen brightness cannot be changed after upgrade to 14.10
No I don't. The Dell XPS 15 is one of those Nvidia Optimus setups: an Nvidia card hidden behind the Intel onboard graphics. Should I have a 20-intel.conf in that scenario?

I tried xbacklight and acpi_osi=Linux, but neither of them seem to have any effect. Any other thoughts are appreciated.

comment X.org loaded intel driver, disables everything else
Err, I don't think Ubuntu has had one by default for a while now. I don't see one lurking in /etc...

comment Why is live-build failing to find this package?
I just tried it again. I deleted the entire folder, created a new one and ran lb config with archive-areas "main universe contrib", then sudo lb build and got the same thing. I did the same procedure including multiverse (why not?) and got the same result. Any other thoughts? Could one of my other settings be screwing it up somehow?
