I'm a professor of economics who believes that Big Business is destroying the global economy. Firms like Microsoft, Apple and Google abuse their power, size and reputation to make customers serve their bottom lines rather than make their products and services serve humanity. That's why I use Linux.
But while I grew up on DOS, I don't speak Ubuntu and I get really frustrated with the inability to find information on using it that starts you from zero or at least links you to the definitions of terms in a way that a non-programmer can understand. I've quit Ubuntu 3 times for that reason. I love that it's customizable in theory, you know?
But I'm hoping this time I'll stick with it. Apple is just aggravating me to no end...
