comment I want to use my old PIII to learn basic linux stuff, should I use ubuntu?
For that kind of a machine running live CD will not be a fun; believe me. It can be done but keeping in mind that the extraordinary slowness will not be the case when you actually install. And what's more, you may think of installing from an "alternate CD" which has no live CD features.

comment Easter eggs in Ubuntu
Here is an interesting comment written by 3M-TA3: "Moo!" could have come from the dial up BBS days 'before the 'internet.' On the Citadel BBS system if you pressed the "M" key it responded with "Moo!" It was replaced with "Meet User in later versions. However "Moo" could have come from something in the CP/M operating system, which could lead back to Unix.

Lets not call her "that fish", please. :) She's "Wanda the fish". Wanda is a very nice and smart friend of us. She sits on my top panel in the form of a GNOME applet and she's a part-time fortune teller. Wanda has even a fan page. She was here long before "Paul the Octopus" and is here after Paul, as well.

I can view the application in Turkish. Someone has translated it. Its interesting for an easter egg to have translation files.

That tr_CY (means Cypriot Turkish) has nothing to do with even a few hundred thousand Turk living in Cyprus. It should be tr_TR . Maybe after this modification, it works. Even if it works or not after modification, tr_CY is wrong, it should be tr_TR .

comment How to pretend to browse from a different country?
Not illegal for sure. Depending on the answer, it may be Ubuntu specific (OS specific, GNU/Linux specific...) as well. For me, important and nice question.
