No sound after upgrade to 11.10 oh ok you know what internal name and model of your soundcard is so search google and find the driver that is for your card. I don't know how to do it within ubuntu |

Ubuntu 11.10 Loading into TTY Mode if reinstalling fixed it then mark my answer as the right one that way people know it's what they have to do. |

Ubuntu 11.10 Loading into TTY Mode I did the exact same thing and installed through Windows 7 and I do have wireless problems but only after I wake my computer up from sleeping. |

High CPU when I open nautilus Hmm I don't see a hardware reason for why it makes things really slow perhaps you could try going to System Monitor and look for Nautilus and change the priority to a lower one. |

High CPU when I open nautilus What processor do you have? You can find out by going to System Info in the Dash Home. If you have a lower end processor the reason is it can't process enough calculations fast enough. The other reason could be that you don't have enough ram post to let us know. Jake |
