The linked Canon site offers Debian packages for both 32-bit and 64-bit in a single *.deb.tar.gz file (I checked 4 DEB files in total). Also included a bash script install.sh file that can be used as the automated installer via command-line (no double-click DEB files). So what you want to ask here is actually, "How to install the Canon MG2550 Linux driver using install.sh provided?", I think?
