SSH to the Ubuntu host machine from a Ubuntu VirtualBox guest? I rewrote the question. The problem is in fact that SSH is not running. The match block I added is making sshd terminate. So my question is now related to this match block. Thanks |

Kubuntu 12.04 screen capture (KSnapshot, etc.) broken by update I have the latest version of everything except the proprietary ATI/AMD driver. Unfortunately, there is no simple upgrade for that driver. One must uninstall it and reinstall the newer version. Given the fact that installing it to start with was a huge PITA, I cannot risk altering my system at this time. I depend on my system for day to day work. I guess I will have to live without a screen capture solution because there is no way I can afford the time once again to go through the hassle I went through to get my 3-monitor system working initially. |

I want to run Android apps on Kubuntu 12.04 In this particular case, I don't think it is so subjective. This is an early phase of development of these solutions and (based on my past attempts) many solutions are not yet fully baked. As I said, I am seeking feedback from people that have been using the different available solutions that I mentioned in my question. Thanks. |

I want to run Android apps on Kubuntu 12.04 @UriHerrera - your comment gives the impression that you have no experience with this subject. About a year ago I tried, for example, Android X86 in Virtual Box. My experience indicates that it is possible and realistic to achieve my stated goal. I hope people with more recent relevant experience will reply here. I am not seeking simple opinions like yours. I am seeking feedback from people that have been using the different available solutions that I mentioned in my question. Thanks. |
