comment long waiting delay on wordpress
Like I mention in the question's post, drupal has no problems on this machine using the very same http and sql servers, so I don't think this problem is related to a firewall or ipv6 setup, though I agree with you this setup has very low capacity and does not easily scale. Anyway, since the server is not been intensively used (yet), I've never reached more than 60% RAM load (Usually I'm at about 30%), and the CPU seems to be doing fine when it's just me connected (it doesn't peak more that 10-20 percent when requesting the main page, but surprisingly the delay was much reduced with 4 cores)

Open, kinda. Installed all updates but couldn't solve it, and I had also some trouble with CPU/GPU load (even after switching to integrated Intel and disabling Nvidia GPU) that would drain my battery faster than usual. I ended up switching to Mint (which I wanted to try for some time), and find out it's better for my laptop, so I'm happy now :)

comment Get list of recommended packages (suggestions) for touch screen support after apt-get install lxde
nope, I guess these suggestions came from a required automatically selected package (there where at least 20 and I would like not having to check them all), but still, great command you just introduced me to, thanks
