Fork it, use it, break it, fix it,
Comm it, push it, pull - request it,
Fetch it, branch it, patch it, fake it,
Merge it, git: it, never - https: it.

Write it, cut it, paste it, save it,
Build it, check it, quick - rewrite it,
Clone it, crack it, crop it, comp it,
Drag and drop it, gzlib - gzip it.

Protect it, pub it, grep it, drop it,
view it, code it, bug - just doc it,
Scrape it, scroll it, refresh and click it,
Copy it, paste it, rm - and erase it.

Name it, watch it, follow it, star it,
Gist it, encode it, salt - md5 shit,

Rebase it, encase it, protect it, reflect it,
Burn it, leave it, git - format it.

This is a whole heap of questions in one.. To answer your title question. Goto StackOverflow.com, to answer "what is the best approach" you should probably goto programmers.SE... I just don't see what is Ubuntu specific other than "i'm building this app for Ubuntu, how?"

Can you provide more information? Possibly a screenshot of what you are seeing? Is your DE appearing like 10.10 default DE? Your question is extreamly vague.

no, they are good questions and should be answered for historical purposes.

I am also victim of this bug. I can also verify that sites i'm in control of using persistent cookies are not being remembered. Furthermore if you open the "Cookies and Other Data" page you will see the list of cookies is cleared between browser sessions.

When I get home I will update my question for historical records.. however the driver was the issue - downgrading my driver to a previous version did the trick!

Would the 12.04 beta drivers provide any difference (or could they) i'm not sure how the drivers change per distro or if they are moreso tied into the kernel.

comment Must login twice before entering Unity; first login screen has graphical anomalies
I have a similar problem. Using 11.10 64bit with nVidia drivers.. I have no artefacts or anomalies, however every time the system is started I have to log in twice. However if I log out and log back in it takes my credentials the first time.

Some solutions posted here may be of some help - there are also similar linked questions with more possible solutions. It appears this is a common ailment of a dual boot system.
