Fork it, use it, break it, fix it,
Comm it, push it, pull - request it,
Fetch it, branch it, patch it, fake it,
Merge it, git: it, never - https: it.

Write it, cut it, paste it, save it,
Build it, check it, quick - rewrite it,
Clone it, crack it, crop it, comp it,
Drag and drop it, gzlib - gzip it.

Protect it, pub it, grep it, drop it,
view it, code it, bug - just doc it,
Scrape it, scroll it, refresh and click it,
Copy it, paste it, rm - and erase it.

Name it, watch it, follow it, star it,
Gist it, encode it, salt - md5 shit,

Rebase it, encase it, protect it, reflect it,
Burn it, leave it, git - format it.

Can't we just take the Apple approach and add a S to the end of everything to denote a newer version? 12.10 could be Precise Pangolin S

How about we just md5 the version number and use that... Ubuntu 17.04 (17 and 04) would be "Ubuntu 70efdf2ec9b086079795c442636b55fb 7d0665438e81d8eceb98c1e31fca80c1" - i tell you the more I think about this the more I think it'll be the only sensible solution.

ohh that was a example for editing the file. you will want to review the function of each option and toggle as you see fit. laptop mode should choak down your fan though.

comment How do I make Powertop changes permanent?
I did a search on the subject and the best solution I could find (off site) was to enable laptop-mode. It is a workaround - if I find a better solution I will add it as well. Hopefully this can help for the time being.

comment Is there a way to stream Netflix?
Just a note, from two years later, still no HTML5 client (fully). Still no Linux port. Still no luck watching Netflix on Ubuntu.

comment How to “roll up” the window?
RolandTaylor apparently the fact that there is an answer in the post linked which may as well not exist as yours is superior is enough for a downvote for your question. @Dominik, the answer deserves an upvote and a note saying 'unfortunately this did not work for me, but good answer!', not a snarky remark and a downvote. Remember, Roland is taking time out of his day to freely attempt to help you with your issues. A little respect where respect is due please.

liveCD not booting is a separate issue and should be dealt with in this question.
