CPU High temperatures 12.04 Even I have the same problem; but the CPU consumption problem is with flash and not with Ubuntu, per se. I had the same issue with previous versions of Ubuntu. As soon as you start a flash video, the CPU consumption and consequently the temperatures soar up. |

Can't install anything in Software Center You could try and launch the software-center from the Terminal and the log messages (which are printed on the Terminal when you click on "Install" in the USC) might provide some clues. |

Rhythmbox import error in 12.04 May be related to this bug. If you can manually install ffmpeg, vlc, it should also install most of the codecs. Use sudo apt-get install vlc ffmpeg. |
