What is the command line equivalent for the update manager? The Ubuntu update-manager package is open source so you might be able to fish through the source code to find your answer. I took a quick look, but I didn't notice anything unusual about the way they upgrade. |

Ubuntu 12.04 won't boot on Samsung Series 9 NP900X3A (ssd hard-drive) Are you booting with the USB drive in? I believe Ubuntu 12.04 for some odd reason installs GRUB to the USB drive by default. It might be that the computer can't find the bootloader on the HDD. |
