comment How can I make clicking Notify-OSD notifications bring me to their application/message?
@Jo-ErlendSchinstad There is a difference between "requiring" and "allowing". Having to click all notifications would be annoying, but I also find annoying having to wait for a notification to close, for me to be able to click something that's behind it.

Can someone please post the name of the file if he/she tries this? The only similar file I could find is called /unitywebappsqmllauncher.desktop and it doesn't seem to work.

comment How to right-click in Unity Webapps new browser
Nope, Firefox is the default for "regular" websites. Ubuntu Browser is the default just for WebApps. Firefox works ok, the problem is just for Webapps. I know, I could just forget about them and just use FF, but I think it would be nice to use them since they are available...

comment How to uninstall unity webapps feature?
It seems that my problem was actually related with the servers, so I mark your answer as valid because, at the end, it's the way to uninstall (if the servers are ok :P).

Worked like a charm! The device doesn't order the songs by play count, but I think that's a issue with the device itself.

comment How do I disable the chameleon effect in notifications and the Unity launcher?
Actually, you get a LESS unified look with this "feature": Ambiance theme is made of blacks and browns. If Unity gets a blue or a green from your wallpaper, you get a brown theme + blue/green launcher = UGLY.

comment How do I disable mouse magnet on middle edge with multi monitors?
I think there is an error in your answer: at least in my system, the lower the sensitivity, the more you have to push the mouse, not the other way.

comment Open a song in Rhythmbox without importing it?
@James I know, I just wanted to know if that was possible with Rhythmbox, since it's a bit faster. Or maybe I'll try Clementine, a lot of people say it's good.

comment Open a song in Rhythmbox without importing it?
You are right, but still, I don't want some songs to be there. For example, I sometimes record backing tracks for songs I compose. Those are just for work, nothing serious. So I don't want that song playing if I choose random mode. Anyway, if nobody claims you are wrong saying it's not posible I'll mark your answer as correct.

Well, I use some audio files that are not music and I just don't want them mixed with my real music. I don't want my library filled with "unknown artist" songs because the program wants to import every single file I open. I should be the one deciding if I want to import it or not.

comment How to configure motherboard to allow suspension
I have downloaded and I get into troubles with the nvidia and virtualbox drivers (which is something usual, from what I read). In addition I couldn't test if the patch worked because I tried following the instructions in the post but got some errors. I think I'll give up and will try to fix it in 12.04, I don't have by any means the knowledge to do it by myself now. Anyway, @fossfreedom, should post your comment as an answer and I'll give the bounty to you, since I think it's the most relevant.

comment How to configure motherboard to allow suspension
I've found a post explaining how to fix the problem, related to the comment by @fossfreadom blog.le-vert.net/?p=24 But when I try to install the kernel I get an error saying that there isn't such a kernel available on 11.10 (kernel 3.2.1). Is it possible to install that kernel or should I wait to Ubuntu 12.04?

comment How to configure motherboard to allow suspension
@psusi From what I read on fossfreadom link, the problem can be solved (hopefully) by a updating to a newer kernel and applying a patch. Updating the BIOS might help. I'll try both, though I don't know how to do either.

As I explain in the original post, I can't find anything related to that S(x) in the BIOS settings. The article you link is interesting, I have to try updating the BIOS (though I am not sure how).

I don't see how that question is related with mine.
