About

Advanced LINUX systems administrator. I've been using LINUX since 1992 I've been very lucky to see how far it has come. From compiling my own Kernel and X Windows to using distributions that have all this wrapped up. It's amazes me when some one say's LINUX is difficult to use when I know full well that if you go back to 1995 and attempted LINUX only the hard core geeks could make it work. Thank you Linus for all your hard work and continued work on the LINUX kernel.

As for a supporting language for UNIX/LINUX systems PERL has been my tool of choice. Even windows has PERL and I've developed on it using PERL as well. Again another solid tool to help system administrators.

Finally version control from sccs, cvs, svn and git I've used quite variety. But I have switched to git from svn and have found it somewhat challenging but since svk is nolonger being updated and distributed version control written in PERL. Which I have good fond memories of.
