comment How to enter every directory in current path and execute script
Nice work Oli. I added maxdepth here as mentioned before, also since it seems to imply current subdirectories i removed .: find . -maxdepth 1 -type d \( ! -name . \) -exec bash -c "cd '{}' && pwd" \;
comment How to run an application using sudo without a password?
This is a great tutorial on the forums that details creating a separate file for specifying programs that you commonly use. And is a good idea for security reasons.
comment How do I add minimize / maximize buttons to GNOME shell windows?
Well done vanlong. Just to add this can be done from terminal too: gsettings set org.gnome.shell.overrides button-layout close,minimize,maximize:
comment Should I restart after updating my system?
I usually do since I do updates in a semi-reasonable two or so weeks. Yes, for kernel updates and some other core utilities it is required to do so but also because parts of a program get kept in memory I never figure it is a bad idea to do so.
comment Battery loading state on commandline?
Good answer, thank you. Using cat /proc/acpi/battery/*/state as my battery is named BAT1 and I don't see many people having another battery present.
comment Where is the X.org config file? How do I configure X there?
Good point and the rigth way to go. The Arch Wiki also has more on this too (wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xorg#Display_Size_and_DPI) though their X server is configured to use /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ which makes more sense to me.
