Cannot install Crossover I ended up using the binary installer. It still had some problems with the version of my libssl, but I was able to fix this by linking the .so files. |

Cannot install Crossover It says that ia32-crossover depends on lib32asound2. However, that package is not available on my system. I'm not using a Ubuntu, but a different Debian derivative. Which might be the reason why this is not working for me. I'll remove my -1. Sorry, I've been trying to chase this down for a while. Very frustrating. |

Cannot install Crossover This does not fix the problem. It just uninstalls crossover. |

Disable Laptop Touchpad Works great using dconf. However, my system doesn't seem to have a "gsettings" command. |

Disable Laptop Touchpad That is where I got this command from. However, the same thing happens: the touchpad gets re-enabled after a few minutes. |

Any way to manually make a bootable USB from ISO? @JamesHenstridge: This is true, however, most "live CD" ISOs have this property. So, this method should work for most real-live use-cases. |
