Krusader settings are saved to the ~/.kde/share/config/krusaderrc. If you copy it then you are copying all Krusader settings.

When you edit the preferred applications the file association changes should be added to the ~/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list. It is a text file. Are markings correct ? What if you rename (remove) the mimeapps.list and try again to change the application preference order ?
