comment How to hide items in Unity's top panel?
Well, I tried it, but I'm not entirely sure what the various indicator names are. Is there a list somewhere? Also, once they are removed, do I need to restart my session to see them gone?

comment Issue installing Midori
I'll give that a shot. For some reason it never occurred to me it would be in the software center.

comment AWN displaying window icons even when Display Launchers Only selected
@tgm4883 - I'm actually not even using AWN anymore, so this isn't an issue. It may have been corrected in newer releases, if there have been any.

comment Error updating Cardapio
Thanks for the detailed instructions, but I get an error in step 1. After tons of Gets and unpacking, I get the following: Processing triggers for python-support ... Errors were encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/cardapio_0.9.180-ubuntu1-maverick1_i386.deb E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

comment Is there a vertical clock applet?
I know, but the whole point of having a single panel along the left side is to maximize screen real estate. I'm looking for an applet that will display the clock vertically, on several lines (hours one one line, then minutes, then am/pm); I know I've seen it somewhere before, just can't remember where.
