Is there a simple mail server I can install? "Just be careful, not to produce an open relay system" - that's exactly why I was asking for something simple with a GUI interface. I'm a developer, not a mail admin, and I need to be able to set this up easily and safely, for the singular purpose of being able to test email-sending php code. |

Sync only selected subfolders to UbuntuOne? Thanks, that did it. |

Sync only selected subfolders to UbuntuOne? OK, one more question - how do I STOP syncing a folder? I tried to uncheck the Synchronize This Folder checkbox shown in the ribbon at the top of a folder that was previously set to sync, but it greys out and gives me a spinner graphic like it's trying to do something. If I leave the folder and go to a different location, then go back to the folder, the box is checked again. |

Sync only selected subfolders to UbuntuOne? OK, I just tried that before I posted, and I could swear that the option was greyed out on subfolders of the Documents folder. Just looked again and it's now available. Strange. |

Is it possible to do a remote wipe of a system? Thanks. I actually just posted the same thing; hopefully it will let me delete mine since you got to it first! |

Is it possible to do a remote wipe of a system? Thanks. Now, once all of that is installed, how do I monitor for the computer being connected to the internet? I assume I'd need to have some kind of software installed on another machine that would constantly be running and watching for the IP address of the stolen machine, correct? |

Is it possible to do a remote wipe of a system? I should have asked if there was anything a relative newbie could use :o) I'm willing to dig in and try what you suggest; could you elaborate and/or point me to instructions for doing something like this? |

The simplest workspace switcher? @Anergy - thanks. I do know how to switch workspaces; I'm just a little fuzzy on why, so I've been asking everyone I can find who uses them for examples of how they use them. |

The simplest workspace switcher? @michealH - I know how to ask a new question. But usually, questions like, "how do you personally use a feature" get closed because it's too vague, or subjective. |
