How to recover disk space that is not visibly available? Did you have a look in 'Disk Utility'? It shows the hard drives with the partitions on them, you could check to see how much each partition is taking and where the extra space went. |

LiveCD with NVidia binary drivers Sorry, I've never gone from USB to ISO, so I can't tell if the new ISO that you create will work. CDs/DVDs use ISOLINUX, while USBs use SYSLINUX. I will speculate and say that even if you take the USB's contents and simply image it, it won't work. You'll probably need to stick to the USB drive. |

Reinstall of OS after CPU Upgrade needed? I recently replace all the hardware on my system except for the harddrive. New mobo, CPU, RAM, DVD. No reinstall required, definitely a pleasant surprise. I had to reinstall Windows, though, presumably due to anti-piracy measures. |
